Sound Transit EIS Briefing

Description

Sound Transit wants your input on proposed light rail routes and station locations between Federal Way and Tacoma. The Tacoma Dome Link Extension project will add nearly 10 miles to the regional light rail system, connecting the Federal Way Downtown Station to the Tacoma Dome with news stations at South Federal Way, Fife, Portland Avenue and Tacoma Dome Station. This extension will provide fast and reliable connections to regional destinations, residential areas, and job centers.

The project’s Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) details the project’s potential impacts, benefits, and mitigation strategies.
